Brief History:
The Hamilton Band Rotunda was originally located adjacent to the Melville Oval, north of the main township, as can be seen in the early postcards. The rotunda was moved to the Hamilton Botanic Gardens in the late 1980s and fully restored (Western District Families, 2024).
